Went to watch Mama Mia on Thursday 26th of July with my daughter at about 6 o’clock. It was my birthday and we were served by a gorgeous young lady with dark hair and tan skin at the ticket desk who generally seemed to fill the whole atmosphere positively. She was so friendly and lovely to talk to and processed our order without a hitch. My daughter and I have some eye sight difficulties and she patiently explained where she thought the best seating would be for us after I explained what issues we had. Truly think the young lady (wish I had caught her name) is a benefit to her company. Before she had served us I noticed many other people leaving her desk either smiling or laughing, a true sign of an excellent employee. My daughter and I also had a few heavy bags with us at the time we went to watch the film and she kindly helped us with our bags all the way to our screen and made sure we were comfortable with where we were sat! Stellar service! Many of the other employees at the ticket desk were not so friendly, but this lady in particular stood out because she genuinely seemed happy to greet each customer and be at work unlike the others. I am writing this only in hope that the young lady’s management team see it and give credit to her for her excellent service and brilliant smile! Would definitely return to Vue Printworks, but think they do need to train some of their staff to me more like the lady who served us, she truly made our day! FIVE STARS!
This is my local Cinema. It is wheelchair accessible and has around 20 screens. The prices are very cheap compared to most other cinemas in the area and movies are shown till late at night. The staff are happy, friendly and patient. They also have a wide variety of good and drinks both hot and cold. I highly recommend this cinema to anyone in the Manchester area

It is much cheaper than other cinemas. It is also typically very quiet allowing staff to maintain a higher level of cleanliness than other cinemas. We went to see star wars the last jedi premier and there was a total of 10 people. Good for those that prefer an empty cinema.
Brilliant cinema! Comfy seats and it's always quiet which is a bonus. Cheap but very good overall experience. Late showings which are great and parking WILL never be a problem. Will be going this weekend again

Lovely polite staff and a really pleasant ambience. The only negative was that the coffee booth on the same floor as the cinemas was closed and they didn't even sell popcorn which is one of the healthiest low-calorie snacks around. I had not been to a cinema for ages because in this country some cinema-goers can behave in a loutish and indiscreet loud way but this Home cinema is a breath of fresh air. The seats in the Marina cinema screen room were very comfortable and it was air-conditioned. I'll be frequenting this venue again for sure!
Great city, great food! Getting around is easy by foot or public transportation. Go to the museum's (People's History Museum is a must if you are interested in the history of Mancunians) and the Northern Quarter. We stayed in the Potato Wharf area and saw tons. Love this city!

Went to see Joe Lycett, who was very funny... But...the venue, I was kinda dreading going because it was a hot sticky June evening and older theatres can be even worse inside, off we went to find our seats, the instructions supplied on the were brilliant, number of steps, exact seat directions, fab! And the best bit... The air was cool and quite refreshing after being outside. We had a lovely night and will be looking what else is on at the Palace. Parking was easy and there are lots of places to eat near by.
This is Elvis. A very disappointing show. We only stayed for the first half. The supporting cast were good but Elvis was over after and hammy. Also flat in several songs. The theatre is lovely. Also plenty ladies toilets!!!! A welcome change from the opera house!!

Great venue for the arts with lots going all the time. I went for the hip-hop acts, rapping and b-boys breakdancing. Definitely recommended
A nice structure located in a beautiful and conducive environment. Friendly and highly accommodating workers.

I visited this quirky little venue inside Afflecks for the first time the other week- performances don't get much more intimate than this! I saw Once Upon a Year on Blackpool Sands. Students get concessions! I sat on one of the folding chairs which are on the back two rows- not the comfiest and it was a very long (but enjoyable) show! There’s a little bar and a fish tank with those pink salamanders (axolotl?) inside. There are a couple of toilets pretty much back stage, haha. It was a great experience and I look forward to coming back.
Extremely cheap and delicious food in a chilled-out, inclusive venue. Expect to chat to the owners and occasionally get set up to chat to other guests! There is also a small, fluffy dog who lives here.
