Blackwells Bookshop Manchester

Bridgeford St, Manchester M13 9PL, UK – 0161 274 3331

Popup shop while new sections of the University are being built. The bookshop has a small but good selection. There is a Starbucks attached to it with very nice and helpful staff. Usually quite busy.

Very knowledgeable staff . Customer service is excellent. Great kids section includes toys and games. Lots of Harry Potter merchandise. All books are sold at RRP or less. In fact most are below RRP. Excellent cafe.

St Denys Bookshop

10 Cateaton St, Manchester M3 1SQ, UK – 0161 835 1069

This is certainly the best Christian bookshop in Manchester. I've been shopping here since I was a teenager (I'm now in my 30s). They have moved a couple of times and are now in the Manchester Cathedral visitor centre. They have a wide range of books, music, church supplies, and various accessories, and with friendly staff on hand to offer drinks, it's well worth repeated visits.

Best religious bookshop I've come across. Friendly helpful staff and free coffee. Now based in Manchester Cathedral rather than Oak Street
