Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Manchester

The Restaurant Bar & Grill

Ridgefield House, 14 John Dalton St, Manchester M2 6JR, UK – 0161 839 1999

Classy as always. The terrace area with the outdoor bar is lovely. Retractable roof for poor weather days and heaters if it gets too nippy. Sadly though the service that we had was a bit slow and a couple of orders were forgotten and had to be chased up on. And it wasn't very busy so it was a bit of a puzzler. Nonetheless, it's still a nice place and great for a relaxed environment to chat over drinks. It is quite pricey here though.

Lovely sitting outside on the terrace on a warm day. Great service. Only disappointment was that I asked for my tuna steak to be cooked pink, but it was well overdone.

TNQ - The Northern Quarter Restaurant & Bar

108 High St, Manchester M4 1HQ, UK – 0161 832 7115

I love this place. The food is always excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable. Its very handy for Central Manchester but not amongst the bustle. I keep going back.

A delight! The express dinner before 6:30 pm is exceptional value - excellent modern British cuisine at a very affordable price. Very tasteful interior as well - it's casual yet chic.

53 Church St, Manchester M4 1PD, UK – 0161 819 1279

Fabulous tasty food. Great range of pies sides and toppings. Beautiful home cooked pies and you can taste they are home cooked. The pork scratching were to die for and the slaw with the steak and kidney pie compliment it perfectly. A great place to eat and I am glad we chose here to try somewhere we hadn't eaten before. EXCELLENT 😀😀😁😉

Great place, great pies! They have gluten free pies too, which is amazing. The goat cheese one is sooo good. Prices are not too high. I don't think there are any vegan options, except of a mashed potatoes. But I didn't understand why mushy peas have gluten in, that was a bit disappointing. But still the pies are great.
