HSBC

2-4 Saint Anne's Square, Manchester M2 7HD, UK – 0345 740 4404

Amazing bank, staff are doing the best they can. Remember this bank is number 5 in the world for a reason. If you want everything in 5 minutes go to Barclays where you pay heavily for the services! Someone was complaining about not being able to get a bank statement at the branch. Hello it's 2018 on the phone, use online banking! Extremely helpful staff I also used the business branch, amazingly fast, respectful, did not have to wait 20 minutes.

5 stars only thanks to few committed and reasonable staff members. Some senior officers don't make any sense of taking care of the branch and customers. Overall, chilled out bank service ;)

Sutcliffe Dental

Sutcliffe Dental, 20 St Ann's square, Manchester M2 7HG, UK – 0161 401 2008

Earlier in the year I went for a check up and was treated with upmost kindness and didnt feel rushed when I decided to ask questions during my checkup regarding amalgam removal. Dr Sutcliffe is very thoughtfull and considerate and so I would highly recommend his dental practise.

WOW! The love, compassion, integrity, and positive energy that you feel once you meet Daniel and his team helped to create the best dental experience I have ever had- it was stress free, painless and loads of fun. Daniel and his team made me feel like I was part of their family- as if they had known me for years! They took great care and paid close attention to what needed to be done with accuracy and professionalism. At no point did I feel like I was 'pressured' into getting something done that I didn't need, unlike some other dentists who tell you, "This is wrong and you will need urgent and expensive surgery or your teeth will fall out!" I can't wait to go back for my next check up! Thank you Dr. Sutcliffe.

Ocean Dental Implant And Aesthetic Clinic

32 Market St, Manchester M1 1PW, UK – 0161 660 0200

I was very pleased during my first visit to the “Ocean Dental Implant and Aesthetic Clinic” located here in Manchester city centre. I also work in customer services and I believe that credit should be given where it is due. From day when signing up as a new patient the reception staff was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The lady who served me who also happened to be the nurse on my second visit was very kind , helpful and willing to assist. On my second visit for my X-Ray and check-up I was well impressed by the level of cleanliness, everything was super tidy and state of the art equipment. I was seen by a male dentist called Rob who was very friendly, and was happy to answer any questions as well as the range of treatments and options for my particular case. All my nervousness about dentists was gone and I felt very much at ease and comfortable with Rob the dentist that I was allocated And last but not least a well done to Louise at reception who was also very kind and helpful. I am very happy with Ocean and I will have already recommend it to two of my friends. I can confirm both of my friends have signed up as patients with your practice! I will continue spreading the good news Word of mouth is very powerful and credit should be given where due. Well Done Ocean ! xx

I could not have wished for a better experience. Going to the dentist can sometimes feeling quite daunting. All of the reception staff, my dentist Ben, and all of his supporting nurses are an utter delight. I have been made to feel safe and comfortable, I have been given words of support through procedures and nothing less than expert treatment. Ocean Dental goes above and beyond the call of duty. Going to the dentist no longer seems unnerving for me. My treatment is ongoing and going well! Thank you!

Push Doctor

Queens Chambers, 5 John Dalton Street, Manchester M2 6ET, UK – 0330 808 4702

This really helped me. I couldn't get in at a gp in my area for a week. No id was asked for. The sick note i needed was instant, sent via email and the prescription was sent to my local pharmacy. Very easy to use, no problems with the technology. The doctor i saw asked me in depth questions and gave me some good advice. Overall very happy with the service.

ok so the appointment was booked for 10:30 and it ran late at 10:50, but doctor offered me prescription and gave me a sick note for work. sure its free to see your local gp, but in my case, next available appointment was in two weeks over all i'm happy with the service. if i was to advice anyone on the 'visit' , have your photo id ready as they ask you for it in the begining and this isn't mentioned when you are registering. doctor i saw was not pushing me to use another 10 minutes (20 quid) she actually warpped it all up in 10 minutes.

Cornbrook Medical Practice

City Health Centre

Was anticipating a long wait time but was seen less than a minute after sitting down, having walked in as an unregistered patient around 11am on a Monday. Efficient and polite service all round. Thank you!

Walked in for an ear infection, unregistered, having moved to Manchester recently. 20 minute wait time on a Sunday afternoon. In and out of consultation in 5mins with the right prescription. Quick, friendly and straightforward service. Thank you.

We booked in and within 15 mins was called to Triage for assessment and moved to Resus where they found he had a broken collar bone and a collapsed lung he was admitted and kept in until Sunday morning and the treatment he received was exemplary. Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Manchester

The Restaurant Bar & Grill

Ridgefield House, 14 John Dalton St, Manchester M2 6JR, UK – 0161 839 1999

Priced accordingly to city centre Deansgate area. Food was really good quality and portions were pretty good. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I tried the sea bass which was extremely tasty and fresh. I went when it was full on busy amd the wait times for food and service were still spot on. Keep it up.

Fabulous roof top restaurant area with an awning that comes over if the rain arrives (which unfortunately is frequently in Manchester). Menu really good. Particularly like their beer battered fish and chips. Getting on the roof top terrace for lunch in the Summer is naturally difficult because of its popularity so it's recommended to book well in advance.

TNQ - The Northern Quarter Restaurant & Bar

108 High St, Manchester M4 1HQ, UK – 0161 832 7115

We attended the T.N.Q restaurant on the 16th December 2017. We was asked to select our meal choice beforehand and pay a £10.00 deposit in advance, which we was happy to do bearing in mind it was a Christmas booking, and we was a party of 8 people. We had two menus to choose from and we had the ‘a la cart menu, and for starters, two of us had the pumpkin soup costing £5,95p and the sirloin steak for the main course £19,95p. We had a few half pints of larger costing £3 for half a pint. When the bill arrived it was well over what we had expected to pay, on closer examination we discovered the restaurant had changed us for a meal we never had, which was eventually taken off the bill. Did we all think it was value for money, NO, and would we go again NO, why because we all came away feeling deflated, and for the rest of the night the conversation was all about the cost of the meal.

All new mums out there know the struggle of taking a new baby out for a romantic meal for you and hubby! We booked a table for 5:30 so we felt we'd had a sat night out in town but yet wasn't too late for baby and other customers frowning at the thought of being sat near a baby. Anyway, the evening was lovely, nice atmosphere, great food but most of all great staff! I had a bottle ready for baby and low and behold she woke for her feed just as our steaks arrived. Tom (one of the waiters) offered to feed the baby while we ate our food. This was so thoughtful and kind and a god send as all new mums out there will know. She didn't take the bottle but he happily distracted her while we ate. Recently I've noticed that in lots of food places etc, so much pressure is put on the staff so either they have no time for you or they won't take your drinks order because that's 'not their job' . These guys have a lovely balance in this place! Warm and inviting and that's what you want.

Zizzi

37 Exchange St, Manchester M4 3TR, UK – 0161 834 9395

ZIZI serve freshly cooked food in an open kitchen that always comes out tasting delicious. It has a brilliant selection of drinks and the staff are always polite and friendly. I can't wait to return.
